Ballistic Shell Gel (SG) Series Case comes with THREE layers of protection. The first and outermost layer is made of soft TPU which will help absorb the shock of a drop. In addition, this first layer, is co-molded onto layer number 2, which is made of a tough impact resistant polycarbonate. Last but not least, layer number three, which is the inner-most layer, made of a soft silicone. This layer also includes the Ballistic Corners™ which means all four corners have extra shock absorption where you need it the most!

I am very happy with my Ballistic phone case. I never worry about dropping my phone anymore because this case is well designed. I had a hard time finding a case for the galaxy 2 X but came across the Case 123 website, am am very glad I did!!  Great CDN. company, Great prices and awesome service with very quick delivery. If you want something cheap and cheesy then go elsewhere.  If you want to transform your phone into a TANK then you have come to the right place.  Now I have had one other well known competitor's case for my other phone and it was alright but if you want more BANG for your buck and more ARMOR for your device then GO BALLISTIC!

From my past and previous experience with my last case for my last phone compared to my new Ballistic case for my new phone let's just say that I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED with having chosen the superior product!

I am just so happy that not only did I find a case that exceeded my expectations but that I was also able to find a case that fits my SGH-T989D perfectly!

For those of you curious the SGH-T989D is also known as the 4G Samsung Galaxy S II™ X from Telus.
